Old Trafford - The Theatre of Dreams

Newton Heath L&YR F.C. Founded
The club was founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club by the Carriage and Wagon department of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway depot.
Manchester United is Born
The club was saved from bankruptcy and renamed Manchester United Football Club.
First League Championship
Manchester United won their first Football League First Division title.
Old Trafford Opens
The club moved to Old Trafford, which would become known as "The Theatre of Dreams".
Sir Matt Busby Arrives
Matt Busby was appointed as manager, beginning one of the most successful eras in club history.
